Logan College that due to high application volume, the state of Illinois is at risk of being out of money to fund the ILLINOIS STATE MAP Grant (which is the state grant that pays for tuition) by the end of May. Students who have been admitted to John A. Logan College and have submitted the FAFSA with JALC as a school choice will be receiving financial aid packets from our office. Students should complete and return any requested information to the financial aid office. Once we have confirmed eligibility, an award letter will be sent out to the student. The JALC Financial Aid Award Letter will state the amount a student is eligible to receive in a Federal PELL Grant if the student is enrolled full-time (at least 12 hours).
